Leaders in the WSD recently met for a Board of Education work session to discuss three important topics: the condition of school buildings, how to fund needed improvements, and how students are spread across schools throughout the District.

More than 61% of WSD’s operating revenue comes from local property taxes.

REACH students and staff celebrated their first pep assembly in our new building earlier this month!

At the district level, monthly Late Start Mondays will be replaced with monthly All-District Early Release Wednesdays.

In accordance with state statute, the WSD will not hold an election for the three-year Board of Education terms this year because the number of candidates who filed matches the number of positions available.

The WSD received a clean audit opinion on its financial records, accounting practices, and compliance with state and federal requirements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025.
